Lyzi extends its blockchain compatibility: a major advance to simplify crypto payments in stores and online

At Lyzi, our mission has remained the same since day one: making crypto payments simple, reliable, and accessible in the real economy.

To achieve this, we are constantly evolving our infrastructure, and the last few weeks have marked an important step forward.

Today we are announcing a major improvement to our payment gateway, with:

✅ A redesigned, smoother and smarter payment journey

These developments are already deployed and active for all Lyzi retailers.

Three new blockchains now compatible (wallet payment)

To allow customers to pay with even more flexibility, Lyzi now accepts cryptocurrency payments via the following networks:

🔴 Optimism

With the possibility of paying in $ETH and $USDC

🔵 Base (Coinbase Layer 2)

With the possibility of paying in $ETH, $USDC and $EURC

🔺 Avalanche

With the possibility of paying in $AVAX, $USDC and $EURC

These blockchains are added to the networks already supported by Lyzi, thus significantly improving the possibilities for the user.

Concretely:
➡️ No exchange account required
➡️ No configuration to be done on the merchant side
➡️ Payment always automatically converted into euros (without volatility)

More networks = more transactions possible = more customers who can pay without friction.

A non-custodial approach completely redesigned for greater simplicity

We redesigned the wallet payment so that it is more intuitive, even for novice users.

From now on:

The customer first selects his token

(ex: USDC, ETH, AVAX...)

Lyzi then detects automatically the arrival of cryptocurrency regardless of the blockchain used by the user.
