Casino crypto payments online and on site with PaymentIQ

Casino crypto payments: online through PaymentIQ and on site, one infrastructure

A gaming group running both land-based casinos and an online business can accept crypto on both channels with a single provider. Online, Lyzi is already integrated into PaymentIQ: activation in the checkout is plug and play. On site, Lyzi runs on the terminals and checkouts already in place. One infrastructure, one contract, one compliance framework.

The problem for multichannel groups

Most crypto payment solutions for gaming are built for a single channel: online deposits. A group that also wants to take crypto at the cash desk, the cage, the bar or the shop of its venues then has to manage two providers, two integrations, two compliance files and two separate settlements.

For both finance and compliance teams, that is twice the work for the same payment method.

Online: PaymentIQ and payment providers

For the online business, Lyzi is already connected to PaymentIQ. The operator integrates no API: crypto is added to its existing checkout and managed in the same orchestration as its other payment methods.

PaymentIQ is not the only online entry point: Luxon Pay, a global payments provider, integrated Lyzi directly so its users can top up their account in crypto.

We cover how this works in our article on crypto payments for iGaming platforms.

On site: crypto on existing terminals

In venues, Lyzi integrates with the terminals and checkouts already in place (Ingenico, Verifone, Sunmi, PAX, Landi, Nepting, Sylq, Yavin), with no hardware change. The customer pays in crypto or stablecoin, and the venue receives its funds in euros or in stablecoins.

The same terminals also serve the venue's other points of sale: restaurants, bars, shops, and hospitality in high-end resorts. It is the logic we deploy for physical retailers and luxury brands.

Why a single provider changes everything

  • One compliance framework: Lyzi is an ACPR payment agent (REGAFI no. 26900) on both channels. See our criteria for choosing a crypto PSP for iGaming.
  • One settlement, in euros or in stablecoins (EURC, USDC, EURCV, EURE).
  • One connector: 300+ cryptocurrencies, 500+ wallets, 10 blockchains.
  • Gaming references: Groupe Barrière, Groupe Partouche, Groupe JOA, Gaming1 Belgium and SBM Monaco are among Lyzi's clients.

How to get started

  • Online: if you are on PaymentIQ, activation is plug and play.
  • On site: rollout on your existing terminal fleet, venue by venue.
  • Through your provider: Lyzi also integrates white label with PSPs and banks.

Lyzi presented this approach to operators at SBC Summit Lisbon.
