Instant crypto deposits on PaymentIQ: how it works

Instant crypto deposits on PaymentIQ: how the player account gets credited

An instant crypto deposit relies on a mechanism that is simple for the player and demanding behind the scenes: a dedicated deposit address, a transaction tracked on the blockchain, then an automatic account credit once confirmed. For an operator on PaymentIQ, this chain is handled by Lyzi, already integrated into the platform: the operator switches crypto on, it does not build it.

The player journey

For the player, a crypto deposit looks like any other deposit:

  • they choose crypto among the payment methods;
  • they select the asset to deposit;
  • they send funds to the dedicated deposit address, or connect their wallet directly;
  • once confirmed on the blockchain, the amount is credited to their account.

It is the same journey deployed directly, outside PaymentIQ, with Luxon Pay, a global payments provider, for account top-ups. Through PaymentIQ or directly, the mechanics are identical.

What happens behind the scenes

Address assignment. Each deposit must be matched to the right player account without ambiguity. The dedicated address does exactly that.

Asset and network choice. The same cryptocurrency can move on several blockchains: the player must know clearly which network to send funds on.

Transaction tracking. Once sent, the transaction is monitored on chain until it is confirmed.

Account credit. On confirmation, the amount is credited automatically: no manual step, no banking delay.

Settlement for the operator. The operator receives its funds in euros or in stablecoins, as it chooses, without carrying volatility unless it wants to.

Why we talk about wallet orchestration

Players do not all pay from the same tool: some use a personal wallet, others an exchange account. Accepting crypto properly means absorbing that diversity without multiplying integrations.

That is the role of Lyzi's unified connector: 500+ wallets (including MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, Trust Wallet and Rabby Wallet), regulated exchanges (Binance, Crypto.com, Coinbase, OKX, KuCoin, Gate.io, Bybit, Bitpanda), 300+ cryptocurrencies across 10 blockchains, and the EURC, USDC, EURCV and EURE stablecoins.

What Lyzi brings to a PaymentIQ operator

  • No integration to build: Lyzi is already connected to PaymentIQ.
  • A regulated provider: ACPR payment agent, REGAFI no. 26900.
  • Broad coverage across wallets, exchanges and blockchains.
  • One infrastructure online and on the casino floor, already deployed in land-based casinos.

The same layer also serves PSPs and banks that want to offer crypto deposits to their own customers. For the wider framework, read our article on crypto payments for iGaming platforms.
